Achieving Natural Beauty

Facial-applying organic cream_natural beauty

Isn’t it ironic that achieving that natural, glowing look every morning in the mirror takes a wild time? But with the right products and techniques it is very possible. Less is more nowadays so, why not go for the natural look instead of loading your face down with makeup. If your face could talk it will thank you for doing this.

Every woman wants to look like themselves—just more beautiful and confident.

Before attempting to apply anything to your face, please make sure that you cleanse with your normal facial cleanser.

Step 1: You will want to prepare your skin an oil free moisturizer, this will allow applying your makeup easier while moisturizing your skin.

Step 2: For those gifted with non-problematic skin, apply a moisturizer with a tint, to even out your skin tone. If you prefer more coverage, use a liquid foundation with a dewy finish. However, my all-time favorite is the BBcream. It’s sort of an in between solution. It practically works magic.

Step 3: Apply your bbcream or foundation utilizing a sponge like the Beautyblender, in a dabbing motion. Make sure to blend the edges, you do not want visible lines. Keep in mind, real skin doesn’t look matte so ax the powder. Only powder lightly across areas are prone to have an oily shine.

In essence, you shouldn’t want to see foundation and concealer, but only skin.

Step 4: A natural healthy glow can be achieved with a cream blush. Apply with your fingers. You generally only need about three dots on the apples of your cheeks. Blend the blush towards the temples.

If you are unsure of the right color blush you should go with use the color of your lips or your natural blush color (red, pink or peach?)

When choosing bronzer, go with the chest test. About your skin’s undertones and how you tan. Your chest is naturally more even toned than your face, you can use this as a starting point.

Step 1: You weren’t born penciled in, hard looking eyebrows, so get rid of the eyebrow pencil and use a powder instead. This will completely soften the look, making them look naturally perfect. Put on with an angled brush and blend with a brow brush to smooth it out.

Step 2: For a natural look, ditch your eyeliner and grab your favorite mascara. Make sure you really get the wand into the roots of your lashes and sort of shimmy it up to make them look fuller.

Step 1: Exfoliating your lips gets rid of dead cells and smooth’s them into pure softness.

Step 2. Instead of a lip liner, use a lip balm with a hint of color allowing for a subtle shine and color. Find a signature lip color. A shade that is either a shade lighter or a shade darker. Opt for a creamy formula, which tends to be more forgiving and natural looking.

Take what you want from this advice and remember that less is more. Choosing organic makeup products may even be a better option for those more cautious of the products that we use on our face and body.
